Community Guidelines
These keep Artyrium kind, low-pressure, and honest. They apply wherever you take part — in Discord, on the site, and when you tag #ArtyriumChallenge.
In short: Be kind · critique only on request · show your journey, not just the result · human-made art only · mature themes are welcome as art — spoiler-tagged, in an adults-only space — but no explicit content, and nothing involving minors.
- Be kind and respectful. No harassment, hate speech, slurs, personal attacks, or discrimination of any kind. Treat every skill level with the same respect.
- Critique only on request. Give feedback when someone asks for it — that's what the “Feedback Welcome” tag is for. When you do, be specific and constructive: focus on the work, never the person. Sharing without critique is always okay.
- No gatekeeping. Beginners are as welcome as pros. “You're not a real artist unless…” has no place here.
- Show the journey, not just the destination. Every piece you share comes with a look at how it grew — early thoughts, rough scribbles, a few stages. That visible creative process is the heart of Artyrium. Your technical recipe — exact tools, brushes, settings — is yours to keep. Post your own work, credit references and collaborators, and because this place runs on showing the journey, a single image generated from a text prompt — with no development to show — simply isn't what Artyrium is for.
- Keep spaces on-topic. Work goes in the submissions gallery; chat goes in the lounge. Self-promo only with permission.
- No spam, scams, or unsolicited DMs. Don't advertise other servers or sell to members without staff approval.
- Mature themes — welcome as art, within limits. Artyrium makes room for the serious stuff: artistic nudity, anatomy studies, and dark, morbid, or body-horror themes explored as art. What's never welcome, anywhere: sexually explicit or pornographic content, shock-gore with no artistic purpose, and anything involving minors. Mature-but-not-explicit work in the main spaces must be hidden behind a spoiler with a clear content note; the most intense work belongs only in the age-gated Mature Gallery, an opt-in space for adults. On Instagram, TikTok, and other public platforms, follow their rules too — they're stricter than ours, so keep public posts within what those platforms allow. Everyone here follows Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
- Bring concerns to staff, not the crowd. If a post doesn't seem to fit, or someone's struggling, message a moderator privately — never call people out in public. We sort these things kindly and quietly, and staff decisions are final.
